LOS ANGELES, CA�There will be much noise coming from all three Southern California House of Blues venues in early May as San Diego�s own critically-acclaimed and multi-cultural band pioneers, the B-Side Players share the stage with their heavyweight friends. The series jumps off on May 1 in Anaheim, followed by what is soon-to-be the epicenter of all Cinco de Mayo (May 5) celebrations in West Hollywood and ending with a special homecoming show in San Diego on May 8. On the bill are Grammy-nominated duo Akwid, Upground, Boogaloo Assassins, Jamie Allensworth, DJ Bobby Soul, DJ Sloepoke (from Root Down and Descarga) and Samba Da. The B-Side Players also have a new album entitled, Radio Afro Mexica. The release is a celebration of the band�s 15 years together.
