Soap Opera : A quick thought on soap-operas

We live in Another World where the dreams of the Young and the Restless fill the Days of Our Lives with anorexic images of the Bold and the Beautiful. It's a shame that we never see these sculptured beauties under the knife for we'd end up at General Hospital realizing that we only have One Life to Live. But rather, we'd prefer to sun bathe either at Sunset Beach or Port Charles in hopes of gaining that perfectly brown cancer of acceptance. The messages they send to All My Children are to drown in the soap of our opera, and purchase meaningless commodities that will help fill the emptiness of our lives.

Thank you networks for being the Guiding Light in our lives as we perpetuate our own demise for your corporate rise. Indeed thank you.
