New Teen Angels Magazine #233
TEEN ANGELS MAGAZINE, was started by an San Jose-based artist and muralist Teen Angel. He gathered a
large following through his personal art and his art featured in Lowrider Magazine. In 1981, he created his own magazine
titled "TEEN ANGELS MAGAZINE". He generated a huge underground network and thrived in the 1980s and 90s. In the late 90s his younger
son Johnny was given the control and ownership of the magazine. Along with his brother David Payaso Holland,
they carried on the magazine until about 2007. There was one more Teen Angels issue released around 2011. The magazine was definitely
not coming out on a regular basis. Smiley, realized he didn't have much time to dedicate to the magazine and decided to let
David Travieso Medina and Richard Castor run the magazine. Payaso still helped out as a salesmen for the magazine. The first re-issue from the new team
debuted at the beginning of 2014, Teen Angels Issue Number 232. Since then the word has been spreading that the magazine is back in effect!
The gente are excited to hear the name TEEN ANGELS MAGAZINE once again.
To celebrate the release of the latest Teen Angels Magazine Issue Number 233. Mi Vida Boutique (5159 York Blvd. Los Angeles CA 90042) and Teen Angels hosted
an Art Show on June 14th, 2014.
